1. Remove upper part of the trim panel. Insert a lever into the gap between the top part of the trim panel and the dashboard. Pry around the trim panel for several times until it can be loosened by hands-picture 2. Then, take it off the dashboard and put it aside.

2. Remove the under part of the trim panel. Use the lever to pry the hook of the gearbox and take it out. Pry the kit which is next to the gearbox and take the internal part out as picture 4 shows. There are 3 screws in the kit, remove them so that you can take the whole kit out. Now, remove the under part of the trim panel by your hands as picture 8 shows.

3. Remove the radio. Unscrew the screws on the radio and keep them in a box. Then, take the radio out of the dash. There are wires at the back of it. Disconnect them and put the radio away.

4. Install the new unit. Connect the wiring harness adapter to the original wiring harness, then, to the new unit. Then, slide the unit into the dash and test it. If everything’s good, fix it with the screws which you removed from the original radio before. And, install the trim panel back to its original place.
